Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic Social Media Interns who can help create, manage, and grow HAK's presence across multiple social media platforms.

The ideal candidates are creative, proactive, willing to learn, and interested in digital marketing and content creation.

You do not need to be an expert. What matters is your ability to learn, take initiative, create engaging content, and contribute consistently to the team.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Support day-to-day management of HAK's TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts.
• Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar.
• Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
• Support community management and audience interaction.
• Stay updated on relevant social media trends and platform developments.

Content Creation

• Develop creative ideas for social media posts, reels, short-form videos, and campaigns.
• Assist with creating graphics and visual content.
• Write engaging captions and short-form social media copy.
• Repurpose existing HAK content across different platforms.
• Support the creation of content around scholarships, fellowships, careers, travel, logistics, and other HAK activities.

Content Planning & Brand Support

• Contribute ideas to the social media content calendar.
• Research trending topics, formats, hashtags, and content opportunities.
• Assist with social media campaigns and brand announcements.
• Ensure published content follows HAK's brand identity and communication standards.
• Support other digital marketing and brand activities when required.

Reporting & Improvement

• Assist with monitoring basic social media performance.
• Track engagement and identify content that performs well.
• Share ideas for improving reach, engagement, and audience growth.
• Participate in team discussions and content reviews.

Compensation Structure

This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
